Josh Abbott opened with an intimate acoustic set, playing fan favorites like “Taste” and “Idalou” while sharing personal stories about his hometown and his wife. By the time the Panhandlers took the stage, the crowd was already well and truly warmed up.

A 10-man band filled the stage, and they came ready to play with everything from pedal steel to fiddle. Highlights included “West Texas is Best Texas,” Cleto Cordero’s shout-outs to fans, and William Clark Green’s heartfelt birthday tribute before “Whole Lot of Lubbock.” It wasn’t all rowdy fun, though—John Baumann’s ode to his son’s birthday and solos from band members kept the energy balanced and intimate.

The night was a mix of personal stories, musical diversity, and hometown vibes that made the crowd feel like family. From teaching fans how to make a chilton, to throwing in little jabs about Dallas traffic, this show wasn’t just another concert—it was an experience.

You can’t beat live music that feels this real!
